Product

Data quality monitoring that doesn’t require a data team project.

Traditional data quality tools demand heavy configuration, ongoing rule maintenance and expensive licenses. AIMO turns database analysis, monitor suggestion and anomaly detection into a single, AI-assisted flow that you can run from one Docker image.

Built for modern data teams

Designed for data engineers, analytics engineers and data leaders who need confidence in their warehouse and operational databases – without building a custom monitoring stack.

  • Connect production, staging or sandbox databases.
  • Monitor tables that actually matter for the business.
  • Use AI to propose sensible defaults instead of writing rules.

AI-assisted, not black-box

AIMO uses modern AI models to inspect your schemas, profile tables and propose monitors. You can inspect, accept and refine every suggestion.

  • AI proposes monitor types and parameters from real data.
  • Refinement jobs keep thresholds in sync with reality.
  • Every monitor is transparent and stored in your database.

Secure by design

AIMO’s agent runs inside your environment. Credentials are encrypted with a passphrase you control, and no raw data or PII is sent to AIMO’s servers – only carefully designed aggregates and monitor results.

  • Agent container runs next to your databases.
  • Encrypted credentials; your passphrase never leaves.
  • Data-access code is fully inspectable and open.

How it works

From Docker run to trained monitors in a few steps.

AIMO compresses what used to be a full project into a single workflow: run the agent, analyze your schema, let AI propose monitors, and train models on your actual data history.

01

Run the AIMO agent Docker image

Deploy the prebuilt Docker image into your infrastructure. The agent runs in your network, close to your databases – no firewall gymnastics, no inbound holes, no external access to your DBs.

Supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and more via DuckDB & SQLAlchemy.

02

Connect your databases securely

In the AIMO UI, create database connections. Credentials are encrypted locally with a passphrase that never leaves your environment; only the encrypted version is stored on the AIMO side, so we can never log in to your databases directly.

All communication uses secure channels. Agents are identified by secure keys over mTLS-like flows and signed requests.

03

Analyze tables with one click

Choose tables you care about, and let the agent profile them locally. AIMO collects schema details and non-sensitive statistics, but never raw rows or PII. You can inspect exactly what leaves your environment.

Profiles power schema comparison and AI-assisted monitor suggestions.

04

Accept AI-suggested monitors and track them over time

AIMO uses AI to propose a comprehensive set of monitors for each table: null checks, uniqueness, ranges, categorical sets, text patterns, similarity and custom SQL monitors. Over time, a model learns what “normal” looks like and alerts when behavior drifts.

Alerts are categorized with severity (INFO, WARNING, ERROR, CRITICAL) and can be sent to email, SMS, Slack or webhooks.

Security & privacy

Designed for sensitive data from day one.

AIMO is deliberately architected so that your most sensitive data never leaves your environment. The agent is open to inspection, and the data that flows to AIMO is minimized to what is required for monitoring.

Your data stays in your environment

  • The AIMO agent is a Docker container that runs next to your databases; it performs schema and data profiling locally.
  • Only aggregated statistics, schema metadata and monitor results are sent back – never raw rows or PII.
  • You can inspect the agent’s source code in GitHub or directly inside the container.

Credentials we can’t use

  • When you save connection credentials, they are encrypted in your environment with a passphrase that never leaves your control.
  • AIMO stores only the encrypted blob. When the agent needs to connect, it decrypts credentials locally using your passphrase.
  • This design ensures we cannot log into your databases, even if we wanted to.

Strong transport and identity

  • Agents authenticate over secure channels using short-lived certificates and cryptographic signatures.
  • Each request can be signed with an Ed25519 key, protecting against replay and binding identity at the application layer.
  • You get clear auditability of which agent executed which job.

Transparent by default

  • All data-access paths to your databases live in a small, readable code surface.
  • You can review every query the agent runs and every field that is exported.
  • The product is built for teams that need to justify every risk and every dependency.

Features

Comprehensive monitoring, minimal setup.

AIMO combines schema monitoring, rich data quality checks, AI-powered analysis and flexible alerting into one cohesive system that fits into almost any budget.

Schema monitoring

Automatically detect and track schema changes over time – new or removed tables and columns, type changes, constraints and more.

  • Column additions, removals and renames.
  • Type and constraint changes.
  • Historical comparison and alerting.

Data quality monitors

Use a rich library of monitor types to capture the shape, health and expectations of your data.

  • Null, uniqueness and range monitors.

FAQ

Questions teams often ask before adopting AIMO.

What does the initial setup look like?

You run a single Docker image in your environment, connect your database using encrypted credentials, pick a table and run the analysis. Within minutes you’ll see suggested monitors and initial results in the UI.

Which databases do you support?

AIMO builds on SQLAlchemy and DuckDB, so it works with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and other engines supported by those drivers. If you have a special case, you can extend support via AIMO’s Python library.

How does AI choose monitors?

AIMO profiles your tables and feeds schema + summary statistics into AI models that propose monitor types and reasonable default thresholds. You can accept, modify or disable any monitor; the system refines parameters over time from actual data.

Can I control what leaves my environment?

Yes. The agent is designed to avoid PII and raw values by default, and you can inspect both the code and the payloads leaving your network. If your policies require extra restrictions, you can tighten them further.

How often should monitors run?

Many teams start with daily or hourly runs on key tables. Using the Python library, you can also trigger monitors from your existing pipelines, so checks run immediately after new data arrives.

How do we get started?

Start with a single critical table using the free tier. Once you’re comfortable with how AIMO behaves in your environment, gradually add more tables until your key pipelines are fully covered.

Ready to give your data the monitoring it deserves?

Run the AIMO agent, connect a single table for free, and see how much more confident your team feels shipping changes.
